Don’t get caught watching this one sitting at your work desk, you might have some explaining to do as to why there is so much booty on the screen. Smokepurpp returns with a visual for the “Stevie” which was produced by Go Grizzly. Loving this visual.
Fred The Godson and Jim Jones both deliver solid verses on “Better Now” while Marc Scibilia drops a soulful hook. This has been a good week for collaborations. Check this one below.
While listening to music online over the past week, I bumped into the video “Imperfect” by M.A.L.C. M.A.L.C. delivers a raw performance in his new video allowing himself to be vulnerable while remaining confident on the mic. Most independent artist don’t like to share some of the flaws or inner struggles that they may be experiencing but this song captures it well. The artist is from Maryland, but I was not able to find much information about him. I will continue to follow his musical journey. Enjoy his latest video!
Dizzy Wright is quietly becoming one of the more consistent artist in the game. After releasing “Nobody Cares, Work Harder” earlier this year, he returns with this incredible collaboration with Enchanting. “Keep Up” has all the catchy wordplay and sexy bars you need in one song Definitely feeling the vibe on this one, make sure you get a ear full.
Jadakiss elevates his artistry to another level with the video / mini movie “Me”. To date, I’ve always thought Jada was one more hit away from being the biggest rap artist in the game after he released “Why” so many years ago. His skill as a great verse writer just never translated into consistent hit songs. Well “Me” is definitely one of his dopest singles and the accompanying many movie was very well shot. Listen as your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper lets you know who else be in the field front line till the wars gone. Check out both below.
Roddy Ricch drops his latest video “Start Wit Me” Featuring Gunna. You gotta love the artistry displayed in this music video as the two rappers styles complement each other with perfection. The visual takes you through a classic revenge tale. Watch how this movie unfolds on the L.A. streets. Leave your comments below!!!!
Swizz Beatz has been back to his usual mastermind self while assuming his role as executive music producer for the Epix’s new series Godfather Of Harlem”. The show follows Ellesworth “Bumpy” Johnson starring Forrest Whittaker as he returns home after an 11 year bid in the notorious Alcatraz. Who better to build the musical score to capture the time period as well keep the sound fresh than super producer Swizz Beatz.
Already releasing songs with Wale, DMV, Rick Ross and more, the collaboration with Pusha T surely doesn’t disappoint . Continuing to use samples that capture the time period, Pusha T drops scathing bars while Swizz wraps it up with simple but well paced hook. This is what collaborations are about. Enjoy …

The 4th quarter hip hop releases are starting to heat up.
Baltimore MC Athalie comes with a short but deadly freestyle titled “Start 2 Finish” produced by Slick City. The instrumental is perfect for the lyrical tirade delivered by Athalie and surely got us wanting more. A quick view of his soundcloud looks like he’s just getting back into the hunt after a little hiatus and we are looking forward to feature releases. Check out the latest from Athalie.
Kxng Crooked (Crooked I) comes with another drop from his hip hop weekly series “I Think I’m Big Syke” a remix to 2Pac’s “All Eyes On Me”. Initially, I wasn’t feeling this one but shortly after the verse started I was hooked by the flow and nostalgia brought on by the sample in the beat. Looking forward to next release in the series. Check out the latest from Kxng Crooked. RIP to 2pac and Big Syke.
